    Working with Engine Transformation we will help you develop and use an array of skills as well as gaining a broad understanding of different sectors. This is not an ‘off-the-shelf’ role and can be tailored to what you want to achieve.

    The Analyst works across a range of Engine clients to deliver value adding insights, driving data led change using a variety of data sources and analytical techniques.


    • 1-2 years industry experience within customer analytics or CRM
    • Ability to work independently and work on multiple client accounts meeting tight deadlines
    • Good business problem-solving skills with evidence of developing creative analytical solutions to client’s problems and tell a story with data
    • Ability to evaluate and query large unstructured datasets and provide meaningful insight and reporting metrics
    • The ability to communicate and present findings to both technical and non-technical parties
    • Able to work collaboratively as well as the ability to work independently on jobs from start to finish.
    • An understanding of how analytical outputs can be used to drive value in a commercial situation
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Structured and methodical working practices.

    Technical skills


    • SQL
    • Excel and PowerPoint
    • Understanding of Relational Databases and able to develop complex queries
    • Statistical procedures (e.g. propensity modelling, segmentation)


    • R or Python
    • Visualisation e.g. Tableau
